Fisheries Enhancement From Design to Construction
WHAT WE DOWe are a family owned and operated design-build firm consisting of biologists, geohydrologists, ecologists, and fly fishing enthusiasts that utilize a holistic, nature based approach to enhance cold water fisheries.
As second generation River Restoration specialists, we’ve been at the forefront of active freshwater restoration for over 40 years. Our goal is to enhance, restore, and create biologically sound aquatic habitats from large rivers to small ponds. No project is too big or too small. We strive to create biological entities that model nature and perform beyond our time, and we do so with passion. This passion has lead to the development of practical river, lake, and wetland restoration methodologies that are unsurpassed. From preliminary design, through construction, to post construction monitoring, our final product will always:
Cumulative knowledge of our team has taught us the field experience necessary for success. We have found that nature is the best model to follow when recreating an aquatic ecosystem. Utilizing natural aquatic structures and processes throughout design and construction results in a naturally beautiful and ecologically functional aquatic amenity. Because of this, it is imperative to consider all factors when restoring and constructing our fisheries aquascapes. OUR WORKFor over 4 decades, we have worked with clientele in the Big Sky country and beyond, from California to New York. This is our life’s work, it’s in our blood, and we take pride in it.
When we connect with a client, we both work in-step from preliminary design, to post construction fine tuning and naturalization to ensure the best possible outcome for the ecosystem and the creatures utilizing it, humans included. We don’t simply sell designs, submit permits, or move dirt. We look at each aspect of the project as a whole and work with you to understand your goals, and come up with the most effective, practical, and ecologically sound way to accomplish them.
